From Indian Lakes stopped by Austin last night in support of Dimly Lit to a packed house, marking the first headline return after three years. The buzz of excitement in the room was palpable.Hailing from Philly, Queen of Jeans as the opener perfectly set the tone with their angelic harmonies and quite possibly one of the best covers of “Teenage Dirtbag” we’ve ever heard.
From Indian Lakes, brainchild of Joey Vannuchi, never fails to inspire and amaze. Vannuchi writes, composes, plays, records everything on his own and brings out friends to tour- it’s a very special thing. It’s been incredible to see his growth over this past decade and growth of the size of crowds over the years.
