After a three year hiatus, Elizabeth is back with new music in a three part release. The first release being “Happier Now”, co-written with The Temper Trap’s Toby Dundas and produced by Tones and I collaborator Konstantin Kersting.
Elizabeth’s music video for “Happier Now” enhances her music with visuals that’ll leave you in awe. Friend, Nick Mckk, brought the project’s visions to life. This one was filmed by water and features Elizabeth in a bright orangey peach dress.
The song follows the emotions that come with a break up. It’s the mix of getting better but still looking back at the situation with nostalgia and curiosity. This new mindset sets the tone for Elizabeth’s new era.
Elizabeth’s debut album the wonderful world of nature, was a beautiful pop record described as “glamorous and tragic”, assimilating to artists like Lorde and Lana Del Rey. It was recognized in many “Album of the Year” lists, as well (The Guardian, The Saturday Paper and Herald Sun).
We can’t wait for some more Elizabeth magic!
