Dua Lipa’s world takeover shows no signs of slowing down. Following the massively successful “New Rules”, which currently is just shy of 900 million views on YouTube and is charting at #11 on the Billboard Hot 100, Dua Lipa has released the video for her newest single, “IDGAF”. Described as a song for the “fuckboys”, the track’s funky guitars and booming chorus made it a clear fan favorite ever since her album dropped last June.
The video shows Dua Lipa and a clone of herself wearing opposing blue and red pantsuits, with slightly different hair styles. Each Dua Lipa has a posse of identically dressed clones, all with differing hair styles from counterpart. Shot in a wide open white room with color changing lights, the pair of Dua Lipas and their respective posses have something of a dance battle, with each grouping playing off of the other in spectacular fashion. The choreography is aggressive and fun, and the contrasting colors mesh beautifully, making for one of Dua Lipa’s most aesthetically pleasing videos to date.
