American folk-rock band, Dawes, have released their new music video for “Living in the Future,” the first single off their upcoming album, Passwords. The video was directed by Grant James, who has also created videos for Father John Misty and Tedeschi Trucks Band, among others. Check out the music video below.
Dawes also released a lyric video for “Crack the Case,” another single from Passwords. The video premiered on Consequence of Sound, who compared the single to Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young and described it as a “soft, ’70s-era folk rock soother.”
Dawes has a number of upcoming tour dates scheduled in support of Passwords. In August, the band will join Jeff Lynne’s Electric Light Orchestra on the group’s first tour in over 30 years. Dawes will also be performing at a number of music festivals including the Hoxeyville Music Festival in Wellston, MI and Pilgrimage Music Festival in Franklin, TN.
