On his social media accounts, hyper-pop sensation Curtis Waters, dressed in a rabbit suit, announced to his 68.7 thousand followers his latest project. The project is an extended play named Plastic World which will be released June 11.
If you’re unfamiliar with Waters’ name, you certainly are familiar with his music. The young artist took the lip-syncing app TikTok by storm with his debut single (and perfect summer song) “Stunnin” which also featured Harm Franklin.
With 1.1 million uses in TikTok videos and almost 215 million listens on Spotify, the song achieved its own trend where app-users show off all the outfits they’d wear to different events while rhythmically bouncing to Water’s smooth beat. The trend became so big it’s even gained celebrity participants like Disney’s Jessie and Netflix’s Insatiable star Debby Ryan.

After the song’s success, Waters released his debut album, Pity Party, in 2020. The album is comprised of 12 songs and has a run time of 30 minutes. It includes “Stunnin” and another single, “System.”
Most recently, Waters lent his talent to another TikTok sensation. Curtis collaborated with pop princess Kim Petras on the remix of ElyOtto’s “SugarCrash!“—the original song garnered 8.4 million uses in TikTok videos— and delivered an epic, fast-paced addition to the song. It currently has over 1.5 million streams on Spotify.
In support of the album, Waters will be giving away rabbit ear hats with a star on his forehead, like the one he wears in the promo poster. To enter, fans must pre-save the album (link can be found on his social media bios) and their emails will be automatically enrolled in the raffle.
For a chance to win a Plastic World rabbit hat, follow Curtis Waters on Instagram, Twitter and TikTok and pre-save his EP.
