The College Music Journal will be celebrating its 35th year anniversary this fall by hosting its annual music marathon from October 13-17 in New York City. The music magazine announced this year’s festival with a list of some of the artists that will be performing during the festival along with their list of the candidates nominated for the College Radio Awards.
The music magazine has booked several artists to venues all across New York City for five days. Many more artists have yet to be announced, but so far the list consists of performers including Catfish and the Bottlemen, Tobias Jesso Jr., Panda Bear, and Glass Animals.
In addition, CMJ announced the College Radio Award nominations to recognize individuals and radio stations for their outstanding work. The categories highlight college radio stations and people for their creativity, radio programming, music direction and music promotion. CMJ will also host four days of expert discussion panels, technology showcases and networking events during the festival in Dream Downtown Hotel in New York.
