Donald Glover has shared a Childish Gambino album called Atavista, which he calls the “finished version” of his surprise record 3.15.20. Glover also announced a world tour with Willow and Amaarae. Atavista has 11 songs, including a new one called “Little Foot Big Foot” featuring Young Nudy. Glover released a music video for the track, directed by Hiro Murai, starring Quinta Brunson, Monyett Crump, Rob Bynes, and others. Scroll down to watch it.
Atavista features the finalized versions of other songs, including appearances from Ariana Grande, Kadhja Bonet, 21 Savage, and Ink.
Glover’s run of live shows is called the “The New World Tour,” according to an announcement from his Instagram page. Concerts kick off on August 11th in Oklahoma City, with further dates scheduled in Kansas City, Milwaukee, Detroit, Toronto, Philadelphia, Brooklyn, Raleigh, Nashville, Atlanta, Houston, Dallas, Phoenix, Los Angeles, Vancouver, Seattle, and more. A run of UK and European shows start on October 31st, followed by a visit to Australia and New Zealand in early 2025.
Tickets to Childish Gambino’s “The New World Tour” will go on sale beginning Friday, May 17th at 10:00 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster. A special pre-sale for American Express card holders is set for Wednesday, May 15th beginning at 10:00 a.m. local time. Find tickets here.
