At the beginning of May, Cameron Hardy, a pop up-and-comer, dropped his debut single, “I Thought You Were Lonely,” which received great reviews. The track was unique and exciting and set the tone for Hardy’s mark on the music world.
He’s come a long way since his 2017 rendition of Selena Gomez’s “Bad Liar” which was initially posted to YouTube (but has since been taken down). The video was met with immense popularity. “I Thought You Were Lonely” really indicates just what Hardy has learned since that first video and what he’s capable of now.
Today, we have the absolute pleasure to premiere Hardy’s Behind the Scenes video of “I Thought You Were Lonely.” The video features an in-depth and raw look into making the killer music video for the track.
Hardy says of the process of filming the video, “Shooting this video was the most fun. As an artist, it’s always refreshing to find other ways to be creative outside of the studio. For me, a lot of the time, it’s through visual art. Being able to collaborate with such an incredible team on this was really epic.”
