After a post EP release pause, emerging indie-pop artist Cade Hoppe has returned to the music scene with single “Hurts”. Covering themes of love and loss, the song consists of heart wrenching lyrics and a dreamy pop production.
This single is Hoppe’s most successful release yet, and he couldn’t be more happy about it! Fans are holding it close to their hearts, everywhere.
The California native has relocated to New York where he has started his music career. This artistic exploration only began in 2020- Hoppe had originally intended on pursuing academics and athletics on the East Coast.
Hoppe’s sound can be described as a combination of Chris Martin, Jack Antonoff, and Ben Folds. His baritone vocals bring his lyrics and catchy melodies to life, especially in “Hurts”. The song’s music video captures all the emotions, giving us a sense of nostalgia with its camcorder shots, as well.
Between his debut EP “Tell Me How It’s Worth It” and latest single “Hurts”, we can expect a growing discography from the artist. Keep an eye out for his upcoming release “Morphine”, expected to drop on March 18th- we couldn’t be more stoked about it!
