Next week, Wisconsin natives Bon Iver kick off their 22, A Million North American and European Tour, which has been highly anticipated by many fans. To make the tour count for something other than the music, today (October 17) the band has announced their #2amillion campaign. The campaign will aim to raise awareness, support and person-to-person connections to end inequality, domestic violence and sexual abuse. In order to make it happen, Bon Iver is teaming up with several local non-profits in each city throughout the tour.
The campaign was announced via Twitter, and tagged with many organizations throughout the state of California that raise awareness for domestic violence and sexual abuse. California is where Bon Iver will kick off the 22, A Million tour.
