With the news of a Big Time Rush reunion, fans everywhere have been wondering what the members of the hit boyband have been up to in the last eight years.
From having kids to a successful run on Big Brother, here’s what you need to know about Big Time Rush and their solo careers.
In the last eight years, Schmidt has been up to quite a bit, from producing and writing his own music to spending time ewith friends and family. In 2017, his band, Heffron Drive released their single “Living Room,” which now has more than a million videos on YouTube. The band was featured on the cover of Beyond The Stage in April 2016, where both Schmidt and fellow band member Dustin Belt talked music, their inspirations and more.
After time away from music, Henderson came back bigger than ever with his debut single “Sleepwalker,” which has already gained more than 2.5 million plays on Spotify alone. Along with the track, Henderson released an EP and a few other singles including a track cowritten with The Chainsmokers, landing on the Beyond The Stage cover in 2017 to chat music, his inspiration for a trippy music video, and more.
With a passion for fitness, cars and so much more, Maslow’s been busy in the last eight years, with appearances on Dancing with the Stars, Celebrity Big Brother, and more. Now, Maslow collaborates with Eugene Ugorski as an EDM duo titled LTX, with performances in Mexico and plenty of other places. Additionally, Maslow has held roles in plenty of new shows and movies, ultimately taking his acting to the next level post-Big Time Rush.
Most recently, PenaVega welcomed another kid into the mix with wife Alexa PenaVega, residing in Hawaii with their two boys and new baby girl. PenaVega has continued his love of filmography and family. He even played Big Time Rush on TV for his kids during 2020’s pandemic and lockdown. PenaVega has continued his journey in acting alongside his wife.
