After almost eight years of promoting their solo projects and various endeavors, Big Time Rush is back! After hundreds of thousands of tweets asking the band to reunite, Kendall Schmidt, James Maslow, Carlos PenaVega and Logan Henderson have finally decided it’s time.
Last June, Big Time Rush shared an acoustic version of “Worldwide” as a bit of cheer during a global pandemic that’s rampaged through the world.
Now, the band’s reunited for three live dates across Chicago, New York, and even a date on the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball tour in Philadelphia. And after an insane amount of prep, the band’s new single “Call It Like I See It” is out now.
Check out a fan-filmed video of the performance at Q102 Philadelphia’s Jingle ball.
Pop-driven and written by all four members, the track is perfect for the comeback and upcoming live performances. It’s a step up for the band and shows growth in their sound, although the music space has definitely shifted since their last release.
Although Big Time Rush has only announced and released one single, fans are paying extra attention to the “Bought The Rights LLC” that the single was released under. Will this lead to more music and maybe even a full US tour later this year?
