We’d like to introduce you to this week’s Artist Spotlight, Bryce Vine!
For those of you who don’t know Bryce Vine is a singer/songwriter from New York, he currently resides in California. He started his career in 2011 when he auditioned for The Glee Project only to be eliminated. That did not stop Bryce. He then left Berklee College of Music, met a producer named Nolan Lambroza and has not slowed down since.
Early days of music and touring.
Vine released his debut EP Lazy Fair in April of 2014. From the EP, his two hit songs “Sour Patch Kids” and “Guilty Pleasure” took over the internet. He then released his sophomore EP Night Circus in 2016. Which included hit songs like “Glamaroma” and “Los Angeles”. From 2014 up until recently Bryce never slowed down. He was touring and playing in major cities across the country. He played festival stages, headlining shows and opened up for a ton of artists on their tours as well. Over the years he became a household name. In 2017 he released his debut single “Drew Barrymore” which peaked at number 46 on the US Billboard Hot 100. “Drew Barrymore” is also 2x Platinum. He followed the release of the single with his debut album Carnival. Lead single from the record “LA LA Land” ft YG peaked at number 75 and is certified Gold.
Motivated by Fans
When you have dedicated fans it also helps you have a great career, besides having massive talent of course. Bryce is one of the most humble, down to earth guys we have ever met. After a long show you can find him hanging out afterwards meeting all the fans that waited around to say hey and checking in to see how they are. He interacts with them big time on social media as well. You can also find his fans online promoting the heck out of his newest single, album or music video. His fans are some of the most dedicated we have seen and you can tell that Bryce is motivated by them to continue to put out music they enjoy and bring them a live show they won’t ever forget.
Live Shows
If you have never been to a Bryce Vine show then we can tell you one thing for sure, you are missing out. For us, we noticed it was unlike a lot of live shows. Besides the amazing production behind it all, what caught our eye was the live interaction. When fans aren’t throwing Sour Patch Kids on stage, you can find them getting thrown the mic from Bryce to sing a verse in one of his hit songs. This is something he does often. Bryce interacts with the crowd from the second he comes on stage to the second he leaves stage. He keeps the same energy and puts his all into every show he does and takes the cake as one of the best live shows we have ever seen.
If we know anything it’s that Bryce Vine is one of a kind. He recently released two new singles, “BabyGirl” and “Problems”. Both tracks have definitely made us staying home and staying safe a lot more fun because we have two great bops to dance and sing to. If you haven’t been to a Bryce Vine show, you should go in the future. If you haven’t listened to his new music, click on the name of the songs above and listen. Be sure to follow him on social media to stay up to date on all his new music releases!
