After kicking off their first North American tour last week, Aquilo dropped their new single, “Thin,” the follow up to “I Could Fight on a Wall,” released last month.
The new track features some of Aquilo’s most emotional and poetic lyrics to date, with lines like “You know we’re all not here for nothing, like a fire in the distance, I can see but I can’t help.” “Thin” opens with folksy acoustic guitars and Tom Higham’s stunning vocals, and then moves in to a hypnotic beat with their signature electropop sound.
“Thin” is the second song we’ve heard from Aquilo’s upcoming album, ii, which the duo has decided to release in two halves: Side A, which will come out next month, and Side B. Listen to “Thin” here:
Aquilo’s North American tour is currently well underway, and the duo will be performing tonight at 7th Street Entry in Minneapolis, MN. Check out their remaining two tour dates below.
