All I Can Think About Is You – Coldplay
I admit that I’ve listened to this song entirely too much. As the World’s Biggest Coldplay nerd, I spend a lot of time on Reddit reading about how people interpret songs, what Chris Martin eats for breakfast and how to listen to Coldplay in different ways. Someone recommended listening to this as your plane takes off, right at the 2:38 mark and I’ve been hooked ever since. – Addie Whelan, Editor In Chief
What Lovers Do – Maroon 5
Who doesn’t love Maroon 5, all year round? – Alicia Rangel, Art Director
High Horse – Kacey Musgraves
I’ve never been a huge fan of country, but after listening to Kacey Musgraves’ new album, I’m starting to warm up to it. “High Horse” is a country-disco-esque song, which sounds crazy but you can’t listen to this song without wanting to dance. It’s super catchy (and relatable), and it’s very digestible for people who aren’t huge fans of country music. – Gina Scarpino, Photo Editor
Say Amen (Saturday Night) – Panic! at the Disco
I’m pretty convinced that Panic! at the Disco can never make bad music. What’s so great is the music changes from album to album, so you are always on your toes wondering what the next album will be like. “Say Amen (Saturday Night)” is no disappointment, and I can’t wait to see what the rest of the album will be like! – Delaney DeAngelis, Deputy Editor
MVP – M.A.G.S.
M.A.G.S. showed up on my Spotify’s “Discover Weekly” and he caught my attention immediately. The rough vocal production and driving, melodic riffs (think: Kings of Leon, Young the Giant) are my keys to a favorite song. I’ve never clicked so fast on an album in my life and now it’s on repeat forever. I highly recommend any and all tracks from his self-titled. – Kristen Humphries, Content Assistant
Sometimes – Gerry Cinnamon
This singer/songwriter artist from Scottland is known for his “brutal honest lyrics” and this song definitely shows that it’s a fact. Plus this song is really catchy and just so good! Check it out. – Valerie McIntyre, Contributing Photographer + Writer
Wearing Nothing (Acoustic) – Dagny
I’ve been obsessed with Dagny since I saw her open up for LANY in the Fall. She’s got the most addictive pop beats in her tracks that make you want to get up and dance, even in her acoustic versions like this one. – Madeline Paige, Contributing Writer
traveler – lostboycrow
This song came out just before 2017’s Sasquatch Music Festival. I hate and refuse to camp, even at music festivals, so I stayed in a hotel about a 40 minute drive from the festival. Each of those three days I basically listened to this song on repeat to and from my hotel, and now whenever I hear this song it reminds me of Summer and Sasquatch. We’re now at the beginning of festival season, and this is the perfect song to play loudly through your car speakers on your way to your upcoming music festival. – Joe Hernandez, Contributing Photographer
Honest – Bazzi
Bazzi is a hot new artist and when you listen to his music you’ll understand why. I am obsessed with his recent release “Honest.” The lyrics are so relatable and his vocals are truly amazing. I can willingly admit I know the entire song by heart and sing it even when it isn’t on. It’s that good! – Samantha Aneed, Contributing Writer
Love Is Madness – Thirty Seconds To Mars (feat. Halsey)
Thirty Seconds To Mars just dropped their new album and this is easily my favorite track. The rock influence and synth tracking comes together so well with Jared Leto and Halsey’s vocals. – Lauren Klonowski, Contributing Writer
Moments Passed – Dermot Kennedy
I feel in love with this artist and this song after seeing him at SXSW. His voice is just so raw and his songwriting is beautiful. – Bailey Flores, Contributing Photographer
Never Say Die – CHVRCHES
Normally I don’t listen to lots of electronic music, but the synths in this song are so thunderous and really make me want to get up and dance! This is one of those songs you just really need to see performed live. It’s insanely catchy and it definitely makes me excited for their album coming in May. – Abby Fox, Contributing Writer
Flickin’ Your Hair – The Hunna
After their first album The Hunna has been consistently releasing really good singles to keep us excited for their second album and this one I’ve had on repeat since I saw them a couple weeks ago. – Marissa Sandoval, Contributing Photographer
all the kids are depressed – Jeremy Zucker
Jeremy has a rad way of incorporating serious topics into catchy pop tunes. His voice is smooth and mellow. He recently released an album called stripped. of all his EP songs sang acoustically. I’m obsessed. – Nicolita Bradley, Contributing Photographer
Lay It on Me (feat. Keiynan Lonsdale) – Kasbo
While Keiynan Lonsdale is perhaps most known for being an actor, appearing in TV shows such as The Flash and Dance Academy, and films such as Insurgent and Love, Simon (which I’m just a little bit obsessed with), he is an incredibly talented vocalist as well. “Lay It on Me”, a collaboration with Swedish DJ Kasbo, is a joyous and infectious slice of EDM, that plays perfectly to Lonsdale’s strengths as a vocalists. The more reserved verses lead up to the powerhouse hook, and then the explosive breakdown, which is practically bursting with joy. While the song may have been released last year, and it may not be summer yet, I have a feeling this just might be my 2018 summer anthem. – Blake Charles, Contributing Photographer
Party Favor – Billie Eilish
Billie Eilish has quickly taken my interest over the past month. After learning she is only 16, and has the voice and style that she does, I’m absolutely blown away. – Contributing Photographer
Scary Love – The Neighbourhood
It’s not a secret that I’ve been obsessed with The Neighbourhood for a while. When they released new music, I was so stoked. This song is so good. It’s always on repeat for me. I am truly excited for all the shows they’re doing this year. – Chelsea Gresh, Contributing Photographer
