Following the success of her 2015 “CollXtion I” release, Allie X has announced an interactive sophomore album titled “CollXtion II”. The Toronto native created an in-progress Spotify playlist in addition to a brand new single, “Too Much To Dream”. She explains in the thirty-seven second intro that she’s spent the last year writing, and needs the help of her fans to find the ten songs that will ultimately make up “CollXtion II”.
Allie X will be uploading anything and everything she’s created to the playlist, from voice memos to full studio tracks. The debut track – released on Spotify as well as an audio video on YouTube – follows the artist’s signature pop-electro feel that left off in “CollXtion I”. The synthesized beats that fall under Allie X’s carefree bop vocals create a song that can make any fan want to dance around with a pink drink in their hand and no worries in their sights. If this is any indication of what’s to come in the creation of “CollXtion II”, fans will be in for the ultimate pop album experience.
Listen to “Too Much To Dream” on YouTube and follow the “CollXtion II Unsolved” playlist on Spotify.
