On Thursday, Los Angeles artist Alexander 23 released the official video for his latest single “Brainstorm.” The passionate song speaks on his thoughts on mental illness, and includes vulnerable lyrics that are meant to help people who may need it throughout their life struggles.
The video includes personal accounts from his fans after he asked them questions about their mental health like “What does it feel like when your mental health is at its worst?” The single plays over the fans as they bare their hearts.

The single was released preceding Global Mental Health Day, which was on October 10. In honor of it, he unveiled exclusive merch designed to honor those who battle mental illnesses. All the proceeds from the sales were donated to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and Loveland Foundation.
Making music since he was 12-years-old, Alexander Glantz is the sole creative force behind Alexander 23. Writer, recorder, and producer, he made his debut with “Dirty AF1s,” back in 2019. Later that fall he shared his critically acclaimed debut EP, I’m Sorry I Love You. The rising artist had his song “Another Summer Night Without You” featured on the 13 Reasons Why soundtrack for season three and worked with Selena Gomez on a remix of her song, “Rare.”
“Brainstorm” came after his recently released tracks ‘”Caught In The Middle” and “IDK You Yet,” his biggest track to date with over 108 million streams on Spotify. It went viral on TikTok, accumulating 184k video creations. Following the growing attention from Rolling Stone and Billboard, Alexander made his national TV debut on The Late Late Show with James Corden. The track now has over 200 million streams globally.
