English singer/songwriter AJ Wander wrote this new single after witnessing a person overdose near his old home. He wrote the song in hopes that the person was just calling for help and still has hope left.
Producer Brad Mair (Dean Lewis, Kygo, Jamie Cullum) helped Wander bring the song to life, working in London and Barcelona. This is one of the many songs we can expect on Wander’s debut EP releasing in late 2022.
The single was followed by a music video, painting a hypothetical scenario.
Wander grew up with a pianist father, surrounded by instruments in his south-east London home. His musical childhood inspired him to be the singer and songwriter he is today. His lyrics offer much emotion and relations to pain, however give us an uplifting and hopeful sound.
Wander’s debut single “Time Out”, written after an intense breakup with his first love, received a lot of attraction and was added to playlists such as Spotify’s “Home Again” and “Fresh Finds Pop”. We can expect a similar theme for his upcoming EP.
When you mix pop, rock and folk together, you get AJ Wander. We can’t wait to see what’s next for the blooming artist!
