Whether you’re out of new music to listen to or you justcan’t decide your mood, there are thousands of new songs to listen to every day. But after you’ve exhausted your friends’ Spotify accounts and listened to your entire iTunes library, where do youturn next?
Our answer: 8tracks.
8tracks is a free, user generated music streaming service that completely focuses on playlists. Scrolling through the landing page of the site, users notice different playlists categorized by different moods and bands. Feeling sad? Type in “sad” in the top bar and allow 8tracks to help you find the new best cry playlist. Getting excited to go out for the night? Type in “pump up” and your next party playlist appears. For users more inclined to search by band, fill the search bar with your favorite go to band and playlists with bands similar will appear.
