In honor of International Women’s Day, we are bringing you a list of some of our favorite bands with amazing ladies!
• Against The Current
Fronted by one of our favorite ladies, Chrissy Costanza, the band has had some major success since we talked to them last year, and we love it! Their debut album, In Our Bones, is a definitely been on repeat since it dropped. We also commend Costanza for being not being scared to talk about the struggles and complications women in music have, whether it be a musician or a lady not being treated equally in the business.
•Covet
Even if you are not into instrumental bands, you can not deny that Yvette Young has an insane amount of talent. She absolutely shreds! We love Covet!
•HAIM
Sisters? No problem! These girls rock! They are bringing a new sound to music and boy is it fantastic. They put on an amazing live show and are not afraid to be theirselves. Not to mention, their fashion sense is amazing.
•Misterwives
We can not forget about Misterwives and their catchy jams. Mandy Lee is an amazing vocalist. From touring Twenty One Pilots to Panic! At The Disco and a handful of their own headlining tours, Misterwives are making their way to become a household name. Yes!!
•Wolf Alice
Wolf Alice has been bursting through the indie scene with some amazing music. They were even featured on the GhostBusters soundtrack. That song blew us away! Ellie Rowsell has a unique voice you’re bound to love. We can not wait to hear more from them!
