It is always a treat when artists team up. These collabs are usually quick to reach the charts. Sometimes, the unexpected collaborations are the best ones. Here are some gems that we’ve discovered for you!
1. Elton John and Dua Lipa
The legendary Elton John brought in pop princess Dua Lipa for the ultimate mashup of “Sacrifice”, “Rocketman”, “Where’s the Shoorah?” and “Kiss The Bride”. Bringing in old hits and making them new again was definitely the move.
2. blackbear and Tate McRae
This duo stepped up to the plate giving us a strong post-breakup song. Their voices contrast yet compliment each other nicely. The catchy pop chorus will leave you humming all day long.
3. Sasha Alex Sloan and Sam Hunt
This pair is certainly unexpected, but we are so here for it. The combination of Sloan’s storytelling tone with Hunt’s country sound add layers to the song, making it a memorable one.
4. Black Eyed Peas and Shakira
Yup, you heard that right. The Black Eyed Peas are still around, and while Fergie might not be in the group, they are still coming out with bangers. This collaboration with Shakira has a Latin flare that will make you want to move!
5. A$AP Rocky, Rod Stewart, Miguel, Mark Ronson
Talk about unexpected… this song is something special. The song opens up with Stewart’s raspy voice and eases into Miguel’s smooth tone. And of course, A$AP’s bars take the song to the next level.
Collabs are a wonderful thing- keep an eye out for new ones!
