Firefly Music Festival never disappoints. It’s always fun seeing headliners such as Foster The People, Arctic Monkeys, Kendrick Lamar, Eminem, and more on the main stage. But, there’s something special about seeing the “smaller” acts take on big festival stages.
Throughout the four day festival, we were most impressed with Flor, Lauv, Jeremy Zucker, and The Night Game. We had seen some of those artists in much smaller venues, and it was incredible seeing them take on the challenge of performing on such large stages. Playing festivals gives bands the chance to showcase their talent and grow their fanbase in the process. Flor and Smallpools both played multiple sets on smaller stages as well, which gave fans the opportunity to see their music in a different way. We loved the intimacy of the smaller sets, especially at such a large festival.
