Marianas Trench took the stage at Mr. Smalls in Pittsburgh, PA on February 6th to deafening screams. The second the lights went down, the sold-out crowd excitedly pushed forward, anticipating the band’s entrance. This was the Canadian rockers first time in Pittsburgh, and the surprise of the level of energy in the building clearly showed on lead singer, Josh Ramsay’s face. He seemed genuinely in awe of the hundreds of people, in a city they’ve never been to, singing every word back to him. They played old favorites, as well as a majority of their latest album, Astoria. We had the most incredible time witnessing these talented musicians completely own the stage and greatly insist that you check them out if they come your way!
