We’re still two days away from October, but iHeartRadio waits for no one when it comes to preparing for the “most wonderful time of the year!” Today, the local radio affiliates announced their Jingle Ball Tour lineups for the 2023 holiday season. While some are destined to be an unforgettable night, others are a little disappointing.
Here are the 2023 Jingle Ball Tour lineups in order from worst to best!
11. Dallas/Fort Worth, TX – 106.1 KISS FM – November 28
Jelly Roll, Doechii, Big Time Rush, Flo Rida, LANY, Paul Russell, Kaliii and P1Harmony
Sorry, but no. We totally understand the Jelly Roll, Flo Rida and Big Time Rush hype, but all of these artists are included in far better lineups. You’re better off seeing them in a different city with a bigger headliner to round out the show.
10. Washington, DC – Hot 99.5 – December 11
OneRepublic, Jelly Roll, Big Time Rush, Doechii, Flo Rida, Melanie Martinez, David Kushner, NCT DREAM and (G)I-DLE
While we are fans of many of the artists on this lineup, it simply doesn’t have a wow factor. OneRepublic is great, but as the main headliner? Not so sure. Their lineup last year was just better with fan favorites like Pitbull, Tate McRae, Khalid and Sam Smith.
9. Philadelphia, PA – Q102 – December 12
Usher, OneRepublic, Jelly Roll, Big Time Rush, Doechii, David Kushner and (G)I-DLE
While Usher is in his comeback era with his Las Vegas Residency and the 2024 Super Bowl Halftime Show, this isn’t our favorite lineup. Although OneRepublic, Big Time Rush and David Kushner are exciting to see on the same lineup with Mr. Entertainment, Usher is headlining a better stop on this tour.
8. Fort Lauderdale/Miami, FL – Y100 – December 16
Marshmello, AJR, Flo Rida, Ludacris, LANY, David Kushner, Kaliii and Paul Russell
The winner of this lineup is Ludacris. The minute “My Chick Bad” starts playing, the entire arena is going to erupt. However, overall these artists don’t scream HEADLINER. It feels like one more act is missing. We still love them all, though.
7. Chicago, IL – 103.5 KISS FM – December 4
Nicki Minaj, Jelly Roll, Big Time Rush, Doechii, (G)I-DLE and Kaliii
We’re sure some people will disagree with this ranking because of the queen of rap, but have you seen the lineup for Atlanta??? This is a far cry from it. If you want to see Nicki, take a trip to Georgia.
6. Detroit, MI – Channel 95.5 – December 5
Usher, Jelly Roll, Lil Durk, Big Time Rush, Flo Rida, Doechii, Kaliii and (G)I-DLE
Usher, we promise we love you! The addition of Lil Durk and Flo Rida helped boost this show closer to the top of our list compared to the Philadelphia show also headlined by Usher. Yet, we now we find ourselves missing OneRepublic and David Kushner. Make some small changes and this could definitely be in the top five.
5. Tampa, FL – 93.3 FLZ – November 26
Niall Horan, Teddy Swims, Zara Larsson, Doechii, Paul Russell, Kaliii and Lawrence
Niall Horan and Zara Larsson are two of our absolute favorite pop singer-songwriters. Not to mention it’s Larsson’s only stop. However, it just doesn’t come close to touching the next shows which are being headlined by LEGENDS. Also, how is Flo Rida not performing at both Florida shows? It’s literally his name!
4. Boston, MA – KISS 108 – December 10
SZA, Sabrina Carpenter, OneRepublic, Flo Rida, David Kushner, Melanie Martinez, NCT DREAM and (G)I-DLE
SZA and Sabrina Carpenter in the same room? Magical! We adore these two badass women, and the other artists are strong, making this a pretty amazing Jingle Ball tour date. It just doesn’t beat the top three.
3. Los Angeles, CA – 102.7 KIIS FM – December 1
Olivia Rodrigo, Niall Horan, AJR, Sabrina Carpenter, Miguel, Doechii, Flo Rida, (G)I-DLE and P1Harmony
This is a show for pop fans, that’s for sure. The current queen of angst and bashing your ex meets the girl she literally wrote about in “Driver’s License”? That definitely has potential to cause some drama between fans online. Let’s hope Sabrina Carpenter brings back “this song is not about Joshua Bassett” in the “Nonsense” outro for this one. Also, Niall and Miguel are perfect – enough said.
2. Atlanta, GA – Power 96.1 – December 14
Nicki Minaj, Ice Spice, Sabrina Carpenter, Flo Rida, David Kushner, Kaliii and NCT DREAM
Barbz, this is your show! We have a feeling Nicki Minaj and Ice Spice might share the stage for “Barbie World” and “Princess Diana.” Talk about iconic. And on top of that you get Sabrina Carpenter, Flo Rida and Kaliii? We’re jealous. We need to get some “hoes in different area codes” to attend this night.
1. New York, NY – Z100 – December 8
Olivia Rodrigo, SZA, OneRepublic, Sabrina Carpenter, Jelly Roll, Big Time Rush, Doechii, Pentatonix, David Kushner and Melanie Martinez
The New York lineup always pops off, but this is simply immaculate. There is something for everyone, and now SZA will be on the same stage as Olivia Rodrigo, Sabrina Carpenter, Melanie Martinez and Doechii. Don’t even get us started on the importance of hearing Big Time Rush sing “Boyfriend” live. This is a show for the girls! We don’t think anyone will be able to sit down during this line up. Pentatonix will definitely bring the holiday spirit to Madison Square Garden with their Christmas hits, too.
Even if your show is at the bottom of our 2023 Jingle Ball Tour lineups list, it will still be a night worth attending thanks to these incredible artists! Holiday concerts always have good energy, so we encourage you to get tickets if you can.
Let us know on Twitter what your favorite Jingle Ball lineup is, and if you’re attending any of the shows.
