Ready for Firefly?
This year, the levels of anticipation, the excitement, and even the anxiety around attending a festival are higher than ever. After over a year without live music, the festival community is back and better than ever.
But, with just four days and multiple stages running at the same time, how do you maximize your time at Firefly Music Festival? How do you know who has blown up over the last year?

Michigander
Over the last year, Michigander has exploded onto the scene, amassing more than half a million listeners on Spotify alone. An insane performance at Lollapalooza brought a packed crowd to the band’s set, which means that there’s even more to come.

Aluna
The British Singer-Songwriter recently returned to music and now has plans to co-produce more of her own music. With the power to drive change and an insane 2020 debut album, we know Aluna’s plans for 2021 are massive. Aluna’s new single “Summer of Love” already has more than a million plays on Spotify after less than a month.

Exploding onto the scene in the last two years, Jxdn has gained a massive Instagram following and become a household name on TikTok. In the last three years, badflower hit Number 1 on Rock radio, earned a nomination for Rock Song of the Year from iHeartRadio and so much more. The rock quartet is sure to bring a set full of energy and excitement to Firefly. If you’re looking for a new favorite band, badflower may be perfect for you.

Taylor Bennett
Just when we thought that the lineup was already perfect, Firefly took to Instagram and announced a couple of new additions to the lineup that had fans more excited than others. As one of the last-minute additions, Bennett is a guaranteed set of fun and maybe even some special guests. Inspired by growing up in Chicago with brother Chance The Rapper, Bennett’s set is definitely not one to miss.

Past Beyond The Stage cover star, lovelytheband is one of our favorite acts on the lineup this year, with the perfect amount of alt-rock vibes to sing in the sun. With Firefly’s impressive food and beverage lineup this year, grab some perfect food, a perfect spot in the sun and sing along with lovelytheband’s chart-topping tracks.

A staff favorite this year, girl in red is the perfect blend of low key indie music that can immerse you into a perfect set. For fans of Phoebe Bridgers, The National, Clairo and more, girl in red has exploded in the last few years and has major plans for tour for the rest of the year.

If you’re looking for a set on Sunday at Firefly that promises dancing, excitement, pure joy and so much more, Kim Petras is for you. Without sounding cliché and saying that Petras provides “bops,” it may be the best set of the weekend if you’re ready to sing at the top of your lungs, dance to some pop music, and feel more confident than ever.
