Wake up! It’s another New Music Monday and in this particular case; we have some very new music in the form of a band called Red Vox.
The band, lead by popular YouTuber and Twitch streamer Vinny (more famously known as “Vinesauce“) released their debut full length at the tail end of March. The record, What Could Go Wrong, was uploaded exclusively to Bandcamp where it rapidly climbed it’s way within the site’s top three most popular releases.
Red Vox recorded the album for the better part of the last year with Joe Pecora at (appropriately) Red Room Studios in New York and the result is thirteen noisy, diverse, spacey, psychedelic, refreshingly catchy indie rock tracks. Each song is curiously unique from it’s peers without becoming jarring or feeling as if it belongs to another band entirely. What Could Go Wrong dials seamlessly into a number of influences that should appeal largely to fans of artists like Beck, Arctic Monkeys, Pixies, and The Flaming Lips.
You can stream and purchase What Could Go Wrong on Bandcamp here, follow the band on Twitter here, and visit them at their website here! If you’re in the New York area; make sure to keep your eyes and ears open for future Red Vox shows!
